transverse tendons (e.g. horiz. shear)

Horizontal shear strengthening quite often is needed for box girders of pc bridges from 1960ies and 1970ies. Connection of bottom slab and webs is often not strong enough. In pier region the tendons can be installed without conflict to the longitudinal tendons. Hybridanker anchorages are beneficial to compensate for inclined concrete faces and to overcome missing anti-burst reinforcement.
